Worship
Worship is giving ourselves to God. We, the created, worship God, the Creator. While all of a Christian’s life is to be an expression of worship, we expressly hunger for His presence in our singing. Worship is our highest priority at River Valley Vineyard Church. We desire Spirit-enabled worship that is intimate, dynamic, culturally-current and life changing.
Relationship
Relationship with God draws us into relationship with each other. Jesus modeled a new kind of community based on love, forgiveness and acceptance. At River Valley Vineyard Church we anticipate walking the journey together in supportive, encouraging, healthy relationships. We are joined together in such a way as to prioritize unity above our differences.
The Kingdom of God
The ministry that Jesus did to advance the Kingdom of God on this earth becomes, for us, a model to replicate. Through signs and wonders Jesus drove back the powers of darkness. He demonstrated God’s power in His ministry to the sick, the poor and the unconverted. We desire to see the supernatural activity of God advance through His church.
Training/Equipping
The Church is an army. Each person at River Valley Vineyard should be trained and equipped to do the works that Jesus did. Training is not the same as studying and gaining more knowledge on a subject. Our training utilizes the show and tell model and on the job training in addition to classroom instruction.
Sending
We desire to renew, refresh and empower the church by releasing our members into ministry.
